標章の国際登録に関するマドリッド協定規則の改正（2021年11月1日施行）

標章の国際登録に関するマドリッド協定の議定書に基づく規則について、①手続と同時に代理人を選任できるのは「国際出願時」と「名義変更時」のみとする（その他の手続における代理人選任手続を廃止する）、②国際出願又は名義変更以外のタイミングで新代理人を選任する場合はオンラインツール「Management of Representative」又は様式MM12を用いて代理人選任手続を行う、③事後指定の際の住所記載を不要とする、など次の規則について改正がなされ、2021年11月1日から施行されます。
